What is up with the Pictures of Bush down in the Gulf only with Whites? I have yet to see one picture of Bush with blacks in that area on the NYTimes web site.
Glad to know it took the National Guard only four days to get there.
Seriously, where was the response? Was no one ready for this? This is something that we’ve known could have happened for years and no one had any sort of a plan? I don’t get it. But what a utter disaster the Federal Government has been. People going days without food or water... the government really dropped the ball on this one. The lack of action and response, on every level, is a shame.
The images of the people in the Gulf are so upsetting. My heart and prayers go out to them.
